10 or of 10 ⭐️ I thought the first book was a hit but this one...... my favorite book in the chestnut spring series!!! Cade was a single dad who did not play about who will keep and look after his son; I loved that. He was stubborn in his own way, but when he meet the lady his sister n law want to take care of his son, she ends up being the new lady in his life. My heart went out to Cade when he talked about how his son mom was she was just someone who just do not care about their kid.

Heartless
Okay well, to start off I loved the way the story was going and the types of characters (Nanny x single dad), as well as the way it seemed (I assume) to be intertwined with the other books in the series - for example 'Powerless'. Especially giving way to, and a sort of introduction to the characters in the next book as well as the dynamic. But I do have to say the plot - or in other words the climax - needed some sort of oomph to really make it shoot off the ground, which sadly this sto ...more
