i really enjoyed this , but i recently reread some, and its kinda fanfictiony and its basically a copy and paste of hunger games and red queen mixed together....

it was a fun, fast paced read, but I wouldn't call it a 6 star like I did before... 😅

This is good for if youre in a slump or just want to read a fast, mindless fantasy, but after reading a lot of fantasy books I've kinda realized how cliched this is...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED pretty much every second of this book!! I LOVED Pay and kai, and I LOVED the romance, and I LOVED the BANTER!!! Oh my gosh! Quite a few times it literally had me kicking my feet! And when I was reading it I'd get this big stupid grin on my face. And yeah it had stuff in common with the hunger games that she was obviously inspired by, but with all I heard, I expected it to be A LOT more like the hunger games. Personally, I thought this was a really great book!!! The storyline is not the most original, but the rest made up for it! I just loved the way everything was written. It was described very well, but in a way that it didn't get boring. And the romance! I absolutely LOVED the chemistry between Paedyn and Kai. Every time they talked I would just be sitting there, chuckling to myself. I was so mad at that Cliffhanger!!!! Can't wait to read the next book! ...more

This book was A-Maze-Ing! I loved it! I hope u guys enjoy it as much as I did, but even if not, that doesn't change my opinion. I love how Lauren Roberts can make u fall in love with the characters. Personally, my favs were Paedun, Kai or should I say Malicia 😆, Kitt, and Jax. It's like the 3 brothers, but let's just throw Paedun in there. XD I also love how the author is a Christian. I loved it. The plot is really really good,even tho I think there was too much hunger games vibe.
Kai&Paedyn😍 I think it’s one of the best enemies to lovers and then kinda back to enemies ever.
Kai is the best man character😍

This is the best book I’ve ever read! It’s my favorite book of all time! This book got me into romantasy books and I can’t thank Lauren Roberts enough. She's so stunning, yet so stubbornly oblivious to how the sunset behind dulls in comparison to the vibrance that is her.

I . . . honestly don't know what to feel about this book. There's some stuff I really loved, and some stuff that I didn't. But the ending definitely makes it deserve four stars.
