What Members Thought
I thought some parts of this book were unnecessary/tended to drag, but overall I did really like it. It’s really had me reflecting on a lot of different things in a way I haven’t while reading a book in a long time- maybe ever. I’ve seen some complaints about having Ansel’s point of view throughout the book, but I really appreciated it. I liked having the juxtaposition of how he saw himself vs. how others saw him. Struggled to get through this… kinda boring and never had a big moment. Too many characters and time periods. Honestly don’t even know what genre this would be in? It’s like it’s supposed to be a thriller/mystery but you basically know the entire story the whole time
