What Members Thought
I love dogs, so this book was something I knew would automatically resonate with me. I believe in the healing and compassion animals can provide, and that is what Winn Dixie did for Opal. An adorable story of friendship and overcoming sorrows.
I love how this author can use words so simply, yet still convey a profound message about life.
This is one of my favorite books. My favorite quote from it is on pg 167: "Gloria says that you can't hold on to anything. That you can only love what you've got while you've got it."
