Normally I don't enjoy reading science fiction, but this author has a way of sneaking it in so that you never even see that aspect of the novel coming. The story is just so realistic and really relatable. You get to the end and see how the element of time travel was slipped in and your mind is completely blown.

This book is perfect. I finished it with my eyes welled up and thought "of course."
It's the perfect blend of the Time Traveler's Wife and A Wrinkle in Time in late 70s New York. Beautiful and sweet with a little dark. And time travel. (I would have read it sooner if I'd known there would be tessering.) ...more

Overall I thought that this was a good book, however I really couldn't get deeply or emotionally attached to the story and the characters. I enjoyed the purpose and the message but I have never really been a huge fan of time travel, i.e. The Time Traveler's Wife and others that are similar.
