Two thumbs up winner!
This is my first book by this author, and I didn’t know what to expect. What I got was a wonderfully written, thoroughly entertaining, I am just loving this read!! But when two friends told me to read it, I did! (thanks Trisha and Macky) I love suspense books, throw in great chemistry, a little mischief, wonderful dialogue, snarky humor, some steamy scenes and I am on it!

This book has it all from witty banter to sulky brooding hero. Its MM romance lovers wet dream. The two Agents Mark and Quinton are pole opposites in character,A Spy & spook can never come together but when they do sparks fly, lightning strikes and a really excellent book is the outcome. But even Moon has flaws so does this book, the dual POV will take really getting used too..
Mark Vincent the brooding Agent of WBIS and feared by all.

I bought this book over a year ago but hadn't gotten around to reading it yet. I think that the main reason for that was the book's title, I think it sounds so silly, and even after I read the book I have no idea why it's named as it is.
I've also been pretty disappointed with previous mystery/spy/suspence/law enforcement books that I've read that are set in USA, since they've seemed so unrealistic to me. Since I work closely with law enforcement in my own country, the novels I'm refering to in t ...more

I'm just here to recommend this book to everyone, and to say that this book goes straight to my favorites and hg (holy grail) shelves.
Actually, I love the first installment so much that I purchased the sequels in ebook format before I even finished it. I guess those would do as I wait for my paperback versions to arrive. Ü
A little bit of warning though... I believe Tinnean's words are actually infused with caffeine, to be perfectly honest. Time check: 02.42 a.m. and I'm going start reading the s ...more
Spy mind games... or should I say, love games?
So, my thoughts about this book...
Let me talk quickly about the prose (quickly because I'm DYING to talk about the Mcs :D So yeah... quickly)
It's weird
Yes, in one word I would say: it's VERY weird.
The book is structured to give the reader the most deep perception about the story. It's a 1st person narration and both main characters will be the narrator. Neither of those give me the "weird" feeling while reading... the repetition was the odd thing.

I adored this first book in the Spy vs. Spooks series. It took a little getting used to the switch in POV an the naming of the chapters with sub-chapters with roman numerals. That aside, I absolutely loved Mark Vincent (spy) and Quinton Mann (spook). They are so very different but yet they are each others equal. I found the mind games in the beginning very interesting and felt they were an excellent lead in to the beginning of their relationship. The first book left me wanting more.
