This was a re read and I don’t really have a lot to add that hasn’t already been said - this book is incredible. It was very sobering to re read in 2024, though.
i wish i’d read this book 20 years ago, maybe i wouldn’t dislike it so. though i can’t picture a version of me that would enjoy it, merely one that’s ambivalent to the story and disappointed i had spent precious reading time on this book.
