There are so many summaries and reviews of this book, that I will skip the summary and just go for how I felt about the book. This was the perfect summer beachy pride pick for a June book club imo. I read it in about 2 days, it just sucked me in. I can't wait for the book club discussion, but my initial thoughts are 1. Evelyn was not a nice person, definitely a flawed character but her background formed her. Sometimes I cringed by her selfish decisions, but she stayed true to herself. 2. Monica ...more

This was a very intriguing read. The narrators kept the story alive and were able to separate the different timelines easily. An entertaining listen that puts you ad a member of the story.
