People are correct about Ken Follett. Well written book with fantastic characters. Don't let the size of the book or the number of books in the series discourage you from picking this up because it is worth the time. You can read this or three different books that will probably not capture your mind as well as this one.

Who would imagine a book about building a church would be so interesting lol. There is more than that of course but it’s a great story that I couldn’t put down. I recommend it.
