What Members Thought
Now this is a novel I will revisit. Verghese has shown me a world with rich history, determined people and a beautifully flawed society. I found myself reflecting on societal classes, spiritual beliefs and how they shape our perceptions. Reading about a family through four generations and how they shaped their world as well as how their world shaped them was so fascinating. I loved almost all the characters by the end.
