reread review: Had so much fun reading this again!! Definitely picking up on some clues about the Maasverse that I didn’t before🤭

i went into this book pretty skeptical and i probably wouldn’t have read it if it wasn’t for book club, but i’ll give credit where credit is due. I loved how fast paced and well written this book was. it took me a bit to get into it, but once I did it was hard to put down.

9/13/24- Saw this at the library and spontaneously decided to do a fall reread. I kinda think I enjoyed it even more the second time around. Now that I know what happens in book 2 I got so excited when a certain character was introduced 😌. Also Tamlin was really cringing me out 🤢 I listened to some of it on audiobook while on walks/doing chores and the narrator was easy to follow along with!

it was fine

i felt this book was SO SLOW i truly didn’t start enjoying the book until feyre left to save tamlin at the near end. then it FINALLY picked up, it maybe because i’m not really into traditional fantasy as a genre but i’m glad i finished it.
