2025 reread:
My review from 2024 still stands however, I appreciated the slow burner aspect a bit more this time because the ending was just fucking insane. Hence why I’ve now went from 4 stars to 5 stars

Also feel like I appreciated this book more as I’m not doing the tandem read the 2nd time around.

2024:

I thought this book was such a slow burner but I know understand because of the last few chapters, it was slowly building up.

OK FIRST the tandem read made EoS and ToD DRAAAAG dude. It took me forever to get through these books. That being said, I still would have done it. In one book an absolute BOMB would be dropped and then you’d switch to the other book where the characters wouldn’t know said plot twist and I’d FREAK. OUT. The amount of jaw dropping gasps that happened between both books was astronomical.
