I'm not going to lie, I didn't really like this book all that much until the end. I felt like there were some holes in the plot that could have gone a little more in depth to drive a point home in some instances..

Up until about page 100 it felt slow and grasping all the people and lands was a bit challenging and to be honest, a little boring. I feel like I don’t really know our FMC Isla. I also feel like she doesn’t know herself or what she really wants. She’s always been told how to act, what t ...more

I really really LOVED this book!!
The plot and the love triangle we just AMAZING but there were some plot holes and things that didn’t make sense.

Lightlark is an island and appears every 100 years but has people living there permanently??? How? and when it’s not visible there’s really BAD BAD weather (lightning storms and stuff like that) but somehow there’s cafes and shops and bars that people go to everyday???? And the centennial is supposed to be a deadly game, DOESNT THAT MEAN SOMEONE HA ...more
