Blood over Bright Haven is undeniably a five-star read in my standings.

As a stand-alone novel, this story packs in a flawless magic system, full built - well-rounded characters, and a rich heart wrenching story. The main plot analyses a world built upon systemic injustice, political corruption, and dehumanization of marginalized groups.

Wow wow wow 😭 I stayed up until 4am reading this, I sobbed at least 4 times, and now I’m sitting in a state of shock. This was a very very very good book. The magic system was fascinating, the characters were intriguing, and the tones and realities were harrowing. As someone who has always found myself confusing, I actually related a lot to Sciona.
