I've said it before, and I'll say it again. SJM is a wonderful writer. She knows how write adventure and romance so effortlessly that I just want to devour them! So many mysteries and symbols and creatures also! Let me just say that I gave the first TOG book a 4 (which still = great for me) but in this you got so much more. …….. YUP …. Yup SJM literally did it again … she made me fall in love with this one just like she did the first one. You have no idea the love I have for finding books that make me excited to read. I can almost say that I enjoyed this one more than the first one !!!!!!! WAIT no I am definitely saying I enjoyed this one more than the first one. I’M SHOOOOOK!! I don’t know what I was expecting at the end of this book, but it sure as hell wasn’t that.
I’m speechless right now. I’ll update this review once I’ve had an opportunity to digest what I’ve just read.

Definitely still building for sure but faster paced than the last one. I do get a little bored sometimes but the twist at the end was great, so I am looking forward to continuing.
Also…I am still confused on if we hate Chaol or not? Is this another Tamlin situation???

Okay, I feel like I can't give this 5 stars. Because in my opinion the first half really didn't grip me so was more a 3/3.5 but the second half was exceptional 5/5...
