wow…just wow. I read ACOSF almost two years after finishing a court of frost and starlight partly because I didn’t want to be finished with this series but also because I was not a fan of Nesta. Although it took me about 600 pages of this 750 page book to FINALLY like her, I do. It was such a beautiful story and a beautiful (temporary) ending to this saga. This book really almost put me in a slump but there’s too much crap to unpack here, so I apologize in advance for this review being all over the place:

I’ll start by saying I don’t hate Nesta. I just don’t care about her, don’t care for her and whatever else you want to throw in. I’m also mature enough to recognize that most of the bad shit that happened to her was not her fault (mom being terrible, dad going broke, the human guy trying to assault her, being made a fae) HOWEVER I do believe that ...more

I loved getting Nesta’s POV and Cassians. See Nesta’s growth and character develop was something I definitely didn’t know I needed but it just made this series so much better. The last several chapters contained so many twists and turns that I was not expecting but I am so glad we got! I could not put it down. Definitely recommend!!

Amazing, just amazing. This has to be the smuttiest book I’ve ever read. Great story, but damn Nesta & Cassian get it on a lot and it’s described in great detail. I also loved the story tho because I hated Nesta so much throughout this series and she finally becomes likable, kinda.
