What Members Thought
I really liked how this one was written through multiple characters perspectives! We get to see both Rhys and Feyre, as well as Mor and Cassian, and a little bit of Nesta. I did think it was an interesting choice to write Feyre and Rhys in first person and everyone else in third. Overall, this book feels like a nice palate cleanser in the series, much calmer and more upbeat than the others.
The writing was great, we got a fire spicy scene, and there was more insight into other characters with the varying perspectives. However, it was more of a bridge between the war in the previous book to the next one, and I felt as if it was not entirely needed. It was a nice change of pace and a bit of a refresher though, after the intensity we had had been exposed to prior.
