I've read very bad opinions on this, but I loved this book. It OBVIOUSLY wasn't as captivating as the others because we didn't have a real plot or scope. This is meant to be a bridge between the story of Feyre/Rhys and the story of Nesta/Cassian. So it serves its purpose perfectly.
Plus it's like a Christmas episode, everyone likes a Christmas episode of his favourite show! ❄️

Like don't get me wrong, it's nice and all, but nothing really happened. I get the feeling that is more to get a look into the characteristics of all of the gang, I really liked that aspect of it. Getting more insight into everybody. Nesta I just generally am really curious about, so getting to look more into her was really nice. I might be that I read it as I was in a reading slump from ACOWAR that made me have a really hard time to get into it, but idk.

Rhys and Feyre gave me some 'ick' vibes this time around. It's like, we get it, you're in love. Can we explore something new? It felt like their story had run its course after the third book (more like the second), and this novella just kept beating the same old drum.

I wouldn't call it a disaster, but it didn't have that spark I loved in the earlier books. The plot was meh (is there really a plot?), and I couldn't help but think, "Is this really adding anything?" It's an okay read if you're itch
