I've been putting off reading this book for almost a year now, and I really don't know why. I devoured it in one sitting, and now I am really wanting to reread the first two books in the series again, because damn it, I love Rhys and Feyre and no one can make me feel bad about that. ;) (The third book in the series is shit though, I must say.) I just love getting scenes of them doing this as a family. With all of their quirks and quarks. Cassian and Azriel’s interactions are my favorite! I do not want this series to end at all!

Wow, what a beautiful, short but sweet Novella. Thoroughly enjoyed that, just what was needed after the bloodshed and war of ACOWAR! Already bought the next installment...

I realised I never actually finished this series, after we meet some of the characters from it in the new Crescent City trilogy! So I came back and re-read the first three books. My issue with this one however, and yes, I see it’s described as a “companion” to the series, but honestly it could just have been an extended epilogue. That’s what I felt like. There’s not enough story to warrant it as a standalone imo.

This one was tough to get through. I did enjoy getting multiple POVs however the whole time the only plot, if I were to sum this up, is there is a dilemma of what to buy everyone for the winter solstice...oh and Nesta is being a brat again. I think because of the previous books were so action packed, they moved so quickly and to read this one was so slow, I missed all the adrenaline I guess.
