I have very similar feelings about this book as I did about Ward D. I also listened to this on audio which made my feelings even stronger.
One of the main characters in this book very obviously has Autism. This is never, ever addressed directly, but it is very clear that this is what Freida was trying to portray. The audiobook was even worse because the narrator very obviously changed her voice when reading Dawn's chapters to make this obvious. Countless tim ...more

I normally love Freida McFaddens novels— however, this one was not my favorite. None of the characters had redeeming qualities making it hard to root for anyone.

I absolutely loved this one. Definitely going to be one of my favorite Freida McFadden books. It was so fast paced and kept me interest the entire time. Even after the twist, I was enthralled and still was surprised (and pleased) with the ending. There was also some good humor in the book especially for a psychological thriller. Her writing is so easy to read. Freida has easily become one of my fave authors.
