I really enjoyed this book! I liked it enough to plan on getting and reading the series in it's entirety. The writing style makes it easy to visualize as you read without a lot of effort or having to re read sentences to understand/draw your attention back. While at the same time my only complaint would be that sometimes in the same way the writing style can be slightly annoying. This was not for me, but now that I’ve started the series I’ll now feel obligated to finish it.
Not at all a fan of this writing style. Also listened to this one on audio. This noise kept happening that I thought was a typewriter or something but turns out it was actually the sound of someone crossing out a line of words. Sentences were so repetitive it was painful and I literally felt like the entire book was overflowing with metaphors and similes, most of which didn’t make any sense at all. I d ...more
