After having it linger on my TBR for almost four months, I finally dove into Throne of Glass. It kicked off on a strong note, with the writing style immediately capturing me and the characters engaging me from the start. I was ready to give it four, if not five stars, within minutes. However, the story took a turn towards monotony in the middle. Instead of focusing on the world's most famous assassin, it shifted to her wish to become the prettiest lady at court, which left me quite disappointed. ...more

Well well well if it isn’t a book better than ACOTAR 👀

Only giving this a four because I know what’s to come🫶🏻. Definitely not my favorite in this series, but definitely not my least favorite either. Love starting the read with this one instead of going chronological with The Assassin’s Blade, because I fiend for a lil surprise.

Gonna act like I’m rereading ToG for the first time and act shocked at every plot twist.

4,80 because aparently next books are even better
ACOTAR is one of my favourite and comfort book series so i decided to give TOG a shot and i'm not disappointed! For the first part of the entire series, it is really good. Not gonna lie at some parts i felt like some threads are dragged on too long, but overall the characters and the world conveyed a lot. Also reading Assassin's Blade first perfectly combined all the elements together and from the start i understood Celaena's live and motivations
