Overall Thoughts
I had been wanting to get into this series for about while now as I've heard of the series many times along different platforms. I can't say that this first book met my expectations. I want to continue along with the rest of the series because I always hear that the first book in a series shouldn't deter you from continuing with the rest of the series. I found the fmc to be a little.. annoying? And didn't really like the mcc as much as well. I feel as tho ...more

I don’t get the hype here. I mean it’s fine. But it’s certainly nothing new, or groundbreaking. Likeable enough leads, and a story you can largely predict inevitable “dramas” before they happen, right before they of course make up, to finish happily ever after. Meandering 2.5 stars.
