The story was endearing. The characters were well developed. However the pacing of this book was just incredibly slow. It took so long to build the story to that climatic point. The pacing of this story did not inspire and desire to know the end.

I am not sure this will be a catalyst for reading more of his books- but it was a cute story.

A whimsical, adult fairytale-adjacent cozy fantasy. I’m not sure the narration/storytelling style is for me but I enjoyed the story itself.
