I absolutely adore T.J. Klune's writing style and the beautiful stories he creates. I first read The House in the Cerulean Sea when it first came out and loved it. I was very excited to dive into this one and it did not disappoint. I think the only way to describe it is whimsical yet heavy. He writes about death and beyond while also making me smile. As I have read The House on the Cerulean Sea, my expectations were high for this book and still this book blew me away. Be prepared to cry and cry again because this book is heartfelt and makes you feel so much love for the characters.
