This is a very touching and welcoming book with diversity, some action and a lot of family love.
If you prefer books with banter, this book has plenty. I feel like I need banter in order to truly love any character in any book and this book did an excellent job at that. Although some of the banter was childish in nature, it allowed you to perceive the innocence of Vic's friends.
