I finally had time to finish this and ooh boy!

first half of the book was a bit boring to me but i think that was necessary so I could meet Poppy properly her circle tap into the world; i finally got hooked when the prince was killed i was like oop finally

the way I was giggling and smiling at all the Poppy and Hawke's moment until I found out his whole identity was fake all this time

This was such a refreshing fantasy read.

And I mean we love a female raging, decapitating heroine. Poppy already possessed strength and courage prior to her character arc in this book and I can’t WAIT to see her only get more ruthless from here. Hands down one of my favourite female leads to date.
