Decent

3.5 ⭐

This was a very quick read, and I liked that I didn't have to think hard about anything. I pretty much started guessing what was going on about 70% in. I think this thriller was more anxiety inducing than say "edge-of-your-seat" exciting. The ending was a good wrap up, if albeit, an unlikely one. Overall, I've enjoyed this series.

ah Freida :) We love her. This one was twisty and I loved it. If you liked The Housemaid and The Housemaids Secret, then you will love this one. It takes place 11 years after the second book and Milly has a family and is moving into a house in a cul de sac and her neighbors are odd…of course! A great read.

3.5 - I liked this book but I definitely feel the first two in this series were better. I didn’t feel it had the classic Freida twist.

Honestly Frieda’s books are just Quantity> quality at this point.

I’ve had this issue with other books of hers but for a physician to write in such ignorance when it comes to medicine in her books makes no sense to me. I’m not sure if she’s trying to be comical and purposely making people stupid? Idk it’s just odd. The fact that the main character thinks her doctor ordered a mammogram for her due to her high blood pressure? Most non-medical women understand what a mammogram is for.

I did enjoy this one but maybe not as much as the others! Still really good but out of them it felt the most expected! I kind of had different theories throughout and they did match up!

The real killers were a bit more unexpected but also not overly! Maybe I just read enough Freida that I knew her twisted mind a bit haha!

Regardless it was still a very enjoyable book and was fun to see bits of Millie’s life with her family years later! And the Cece cameo was also fun!

Rounding up from 3.75 stars! First 25-30% of the book was a bit slow for me, but once it picked up halfway through, I couldn’t put it down.
