Honestly, I really enjoy McFadden's style of writing. It allows me to get into a flow state, which is hard for someone with inattentive ADHD, LOL. The short chapters help with that as well. The switching POV's was not overwhelming or hard to follow in the slightest.

I was half way through the housemaid when I ordered the housemaid’s secret. I must admit I wanted more from this sequel. It was still fast paced but I didn’t get invested into the characters like I did for Nina and Andrew.
It did have some good plot twists and from page 200 my interest grew. I would give it 3.5 stars, enjoyable but a bit OTT at times.
I look forward to the third instalment.

Read this after loving the first book “the housemaid”. This was just as good as the first with an even better twist. Had me gripped the whole way through and could not put it down!
