I don't know what's up with this author's books but every time it takes me months to get past the first chapters and then I finish the rest in one afternoon.
I have pros and cons for this book.
Pros:
T.J. Klune is a great author.
The story is cute, fluffy, dreamy and heartwarming.
The characters are likeable, especially Arthur, Lucy and David... loved them 🫶🏼
The dedication is valuable.
Even if it's a slow building, I ended up loving it.

“It hit Arthur then, in this moment: everything he'd done, everything he'd lived for, fought for, all the sleepless nights and miles on the road, the good, the bad, and the ugly, all of it had led to this.”

It was everything I wanted to read in a cozy read. If someone didn’t like the first book, they wouldn’t enjoy the second book. But I was very entertained and drawn to the characters of each child and how they interacted. The villain was cartoony, and the ending was a bit sappy and cliche, but I still have no notes for how the series ended. Everything I wanted, nothing more nothing less.
