I don't know what's up with this author's books but every time it takes me months to get past the first chapters and then I finish the rest in one afternoon.

I have pros and cons for this book.

Pros:
T.J. Klune is a great author.
The story is cute, fluffy, dreamy and heartwarming.
The characters are likeable, especially Arthur, Lucy and David... loved them 🫶🏼
The dedication is valuable.
Even if it's a slow building, I ended up loving it.

This sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea didn’t hit quite as hard for me as the first book, but there is still so much to love. Klune continues to shine in his themes of found family, belonging, and living authentically. The characters remain as charming and lovable as ever, and there are moments that are truly magnificent for example, Arthur’s foray into court in the early stages, David’s integration into the group, and some delightful interactions with Harriet Marblemaw.
