T.J. Klune is the best, and I absolutely love this book! I loved the first book, so I was worried that this one would be a let down after how good it was, but it was phenomenal!

This sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea didn’t hit quite as hard for me as the first book, but there is still so much to love. Klune continues to shine in his themes of found family, belonging, and living authentically. The characters remain as charming and lovable as ever, and there are moments that are truly magnificent for example, Arthur’s foray into court in the early stages, David’s integration into the group, and some delightful interactions with Harriet Marblemaw. Lovely sequel and a great message for the current times. I love TJs writing style, and laughed throughout the book. I fell in love with the family in the first book and it gets even better with this one - unusual for a sequel! Read it and share it widely!
