An interesting read. On one hand, it was well written and somewhat emotional by the end of the book. On the other hand, this was not a thriller as much as it was a character study of a man and his daughter. If the book was any longer than its 280 pages, I would have said it was painfully boring. Not much happens in the book that can be considered thrilling, but it was a good story about a man and the lengths he is willing to go to protect his daughter.
