“Above all, I won’t take her freedom. Not when so many others have already done so.”
Twilight girlies, let’s unite! Overall, I thought this was a super fun and easy read.
Bride is an urban fantasy that follows an arranged marriage between Misery (vampyre) and Lowe (werewolf) in order to create an alliance of peace between their species. Have to confess I picked this up because … well…. Bookstagram, and so happy I did!
There is something Reaaaallly endearing when you realise the FMC is named Misery! And you love her more for her weakness of peanut butter 🤎. Right off the bat this book is intriguing and sweet!
The were and vampyre situation not my typical cup of tea ( more of a fae girly) , yet I got hooked as the book unfolds a world of pseudo interspecies harmony! ...more

My first Ali Hazelwood book and I’m in love. I saw so many comments on the cliche or cringey parts of the book. But I loved them, so maybe I’m cringey? The writing was so well thought out and I couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters, loved the plot, and come on. Lowe? Immediately added to my book boyfriend list.

I have no words? And not in a good way? I will never be able to hear, say, or think of the word “knot” the same ever again. There were parts of the book that were romantic and the plot could’ve taken off but instead I felt it was held back and hinged on this sexual tension between the two MC’s that ended up being… bland and weird. If you want smut and little plot, this is a GREAT book!
