Devoured this book from start to finish. Right up my ally, and I can't wait for the 2nd book (hopefully)!! Overall, it was really cliché, but it was a perfect read, and clichés are here for a reason 🥰👌

I was worried it'd be overally into the ABO universe (Ao3 authors, I'm talking about you), but it was mid and didn't entirely focus on that aspect so I'm happy about that. Twilight girlies, let’s unite! Overall, I thought this was a super fun and easy read.

I hereby establish that I am not a fan of werewolves and vampires when they mate. Least of all when they’re trying to be unique, but failing miserably. Every time Lowe was called Alpha, I inwardly cringed, and then proceeded to outwardly cringe just the same. That being said, I love Ana, and I like how Misery has a backbone. 4.5 stars! It was cute and fun. Love the added element of the different species. I found Lowe’s thoughts at the beginning of each chapter a great addition to his character to understand him more!

I don't care what anybody says. Ali Hazelwood is always going to be my guilty pleasure 😀 I enjoyed the scenery change that it is now not a STEM book and it has vampires and werewolves in it. I have never read anything relating to the omegaverse (I think that's how it's called lol) so didn't really know what to expect but it was good! Fucking cringe. But so entertaining and ridiculous in a somewhat good way. Misery is stupid and oblivious and useless but I didn’t fully mind. I felt as if the book was a bit convenient idk. Also some of the plots weren’t JAW-DROPPING but got me like 😯.

First time reading Ali’s smut and thank god it wasn’t as detailed as… other… books have been.

I didn’t LOVE Ana but I don’t really hate her. I think it’s either a love hate relationship or a idfk relationship.

Bro please… this is so Wattpad. I’ve read a book from her before, wasn’t expecting much or less. Father was understandable but since we are SUPPOSED to be on Misery’s side, he sucks.

Also what’s with the names bruh. Lowe was meh, kind of my first encounter with this name, very dry. But MISERY? Look I know “vampyres” are different and don’t want the same first names, (understandable, Thailand does the same with last names) but MISERY? There are at least like a million other names that probably weren’t taken. Misery ISN’T even a name, it’s a noun or something.

Also some of the world building kinda trash, some of it felt like, yeah it’s just like that just because, BECAUSE WHAT?! Anyways, I’m ashamed I knew what knotting was before this book but whatever. Didn’t expect to read this book THAT fast, should’ve taken like a week or so. Book was kind of underwhelming but eh, just me.

Also, I know Misery not knowing SHE was OBVIOUSLY the mate of Lowe had me somewhat pissed and annoyed, like how can you be THIS oblivious and stupid. But then again, she has such reasonable deniability. Like why would a Werewolf be mates with a Vamp. She didn’t even know how mates work.

Additionally, I don’t know why you would change the blood for werewolf’s and vampires to green and purple, those are such odd changes but idrc but then again, exactly WHAT do they add to the story, I guess the aster thing was kind of a cool play on colors but we didn’t even mention this more than like 2-3 times.

Anyways, book ended with sex so yay for the smut enjoyers? Um… this book was boring at some points but because of how bad and ridiculous it was, it was so fucking entertaining. Lastly, WHY would you end the book with Koen probably finding Serena to be his mate or just really pretty.
