I struggled at the beginning to really get into this book, but once I pushed through that I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. I’ve lost sleep trying to stay up late to finish. I loved Lowe. Like how cute was his relationship with his sister. Misery like her name just seemed to literally have the worst luck and family. I’m glad Owen ended up being a good egg. She definitely deserved to have some good in her life. Here’s to hoping Koen and Serena get a book. 😉

Not terrible, not great. Not Hazelwood's best.
My comments (some spoilers, ish):
1. I was pissed that Misery wanted a romance with Lowe while she was under the impression that he had a mate. Yeah, it wasn't true, but she wasn't at all concerned with being a homewrecker. It pissed me off.
2. The vampires aren't immortal... why? That's their whole thing!
3. The "paranormal" was more biological. Not super fun.
4. The whole Ohh I can't tell her we're mates thing was stupid. I get it: he wanted her to be ...more

I give this book 4.5 ⭐️! Bride was unexpectedly intriguing, incredibly witty and fun. I didn’t expect to like the book as much as I did but in true Ali Hazelwood fashion the book was addicting in a charmingly, sweet and nerdy way. Dare I say that I hope there is a follow up book in the works! 4.5 spine bites🐺 from moi!

A bit slow at the start, but I got sucked in at about 100 pages in and I couldn't let go!
