This was fun. I think I would have liked a little more action happening but I really enjoyed the different perspectives and how the lives ended up intertwining. And enjoyed the sweet ending as well.

Haven't read a book like this in a while. Quite an unique story - talking octopus, disappeared child, grieving mom, emotionally broken people. Kind of a sad story with happy ending. Light and quick read. Relatable, well-developed characters.

I loved Marcellus’ chapters, the remarkably bright octopus, because he made me laugh with all the mischief he got himself into and his relationship with Tova, a 70 year old lady who works at the aquarium, is so sweet. I loved everything about this book. Marcellus the octopus was by far my favorite. The audio was perfect for this one. Super cute and charming- I definitely recommend this one, especially if you need a good palate cleanser.

I am glad I read this. A very kind, heartwarming story about unlikely friendships and unlikely family. I do think the first half of the book was slow and unnecessary but the second half was definitely a page turner. I recommend to anyone as it’s a unique story, just be prepared for the first half
