This was fun. I think I would have liked a little more action happening but I really enjoyed the different perspectives and how the lives ended up intertwining. And enjoyed the sweet ending as well.

I loved this book. The POVs, including Marcellus (a giant Pacific octopus) kept the story moving quickly. I wasn’t sure at first how the different characters would all tie together but it all came together seamlessly. This is exactly the type of literary fiction I enjoy. Fast paced, well developed story and characters, and well written. My only disappointment was when it ended, I wanted so much more! I highly recommend jumping into this wonderful book.

Just lovely. Wonderful character development woven throughout the book, hints of what’s coming dropped like small pebbles for you to ponder when it’ll show up again. I loved Tova and her Octopus. I highly recommend this one.

I loved everything about this book. Marcellus the octopus was by far my favorite. The audio was perfect for this one. Super cute and charming- I definitely recommend this one, especially if you need a good palate cleanser.

I am glad I read this. A very kind, heartwarming story about unlikely friendships and unlikely family. I do think the first half of the book was slow and unnecessary but the second half was definitely a page turner. I recommend to anyone as it’s a unique story, just be prepared for the first half

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Remarkably Bright Creatures is a warm, tender, and quietly magical read. The characters feel real, the octopus is unforgettable, and the story is both charming and unexpectedly moving. It loses a bit of momentum in parts, but its heart and originality make it well worth reading.
