this book was an easy 5/5 stars. it was a beautifully multilayered novel about love, friendship, time, creativity, and video games.
the prose was lyrical and all of the characters were so dimensional, with unique characteristics that made me fall in love with them, and at times become infuriated by them. i adored sam and sadie with all my heart despite their flaws, mistakes, and occasional miscommunication and arrongance. they felt so genuine and REAL, as did marx, and that made the story so muc ...more
