Nettle and Bone has effortlessly nestled itself into the ranks of my all-time favorite books. In many ways, Nettle and Bone evoked fond memories of Alice in Wonderland (another favorite of mine), not in its storyline, but in its sheer imaginative brilliance. Every turn of the page revealed a new wonder: from the bustling goblin market to the antics of the dust wife to the sassy puppet.

I will say I was pretty lost over half the book ,but I think it's just me not being use to this kinda writing !! I did really enjoy it though i couldn't get over the demon chicken I pretty much highlighted every part that it was in. Im glad I read it for the experience but I would not re read it ,and I will most likely forget all about this book in a few days .. rip. ...more

This book was just okay. I found the characters a bit boring. The quest was sometimes interesting, but there was a lot of build up to a pretty overly simple ending.
