Oh my gosh! This was not what I expected at all!

This was super super cozy, and I had low expectations for the book, I thought I was going to get bored but it’s quite the opposite.

This tells us the story of Viv, who, after craving blood and being a complete mess of a person (in the way of demolishing anything or anyone who’s on her way), decides to leave her past behind and open a nice coffee shop in a place where no one’s ever tried coffee.

In here, she gets to meet amazing people that will cha

This was such a cozy and fun read. It's about an orc lady who retires from her warrior life and moves to another city to open a coffee shop. That's the book in a nutshell, lol. It was cute, yes—but I was also lowkey bored. I think this is a good book if you need something quick and light. Personally, I think I just read this book at the wrong time and had too high expectations.

This was, unfortunately, a considerable letdown.

I had heard plenty of good things about this novel, so I was excited to read it, but regrettably, it was not for me. It is marketed as a cozy fantasy, which is correct as it is a little more than that, and even though a cozy atmosphere can be fun, I just found it boring in this case.
The book proceeded very predictably, which was not necessarily bad considering it was not meant to be an action-packed fantasy novel, but the predictability only furth

5 STARS!! I could not put this down.

Viv has lived a hardened life of killing and stealing for work. She decides to hang it up and settle down in a new town. Her dream is to start a coffee shop, a unique idea, since not many people know about coffee. She meets her people and together they start something beautiful - not without trouble though.

This was so cute and heartwarming. I loved all aspects of this story. It was cozy, touching, hopeful, with a great found family. I loved how Viv struggled

Nice, light little read. Very quaint and almost cartoonish. Was a nice pallet cleanser to break up the deeply intense novels I’ve been hitting lately.

This was the first "cozy fantasy" book that I've ever read. I truly absolutely loved it! It was a very easy read, yet still packed with a little bit of everything to keep you entertained and motivated to keep reading. I can't wait to read the second one! ...more
