HE LITERALLY DIED FOR HER WITH A SMILE. and I get it, okay, I truly do. he killed her father. I did not see that ending coming.. I mean I kind of expected something to happen but not this. But I AM HERE FOR IT!
Their tension was just 🤌🥵 Honestly, I have no idea why vampires are so hot in general, I am sure it has a psychological reason 😂 Can't wait to read the next book. ...more

I absolutely loved this book. I did think it was very 'Hunger Games' esque but lucky for Carissa Broadbent, I loved the Hunger Games. I really found the relationship between Oraya and Vincent to be the hero of this story. You can just sense that there is much more to their tale- Vincent is a vampire after all, he's been around. The complexity of Oraya's upbringing both physiologically and psychologically definitely adds to her personality and characte ...more
