I haven’t read a book that truly captured my attention and was on the edge of my seat ,in AGES ! Everything about “Spark of The Everflame” was everything I could want in a book. A bad ass FMC ,true Slowww burn , and extremely plot heavy. 
I don’t know why but I have major beef with Maura so hoping she get killed off in the next book 🤞

Love, love, love! From start to finish, the pacing kept me hooked, never dragging but allowing just enough time to fully immerse in the world and its characters. Speaking of characters—I loved them all. Each one felt fully realized, with depth and personality that made them easy to connect with. The story itself was engaging, blending action, emotion, and intrigue in a way that made it hard to put down. I’m already counting down the days until the second book releases because I need more! 3 stars for the vibes. I was interested I'll give it that. 
Sympathetic to some of the other reviews that criticize FMC Diem for being annoying, making stupid decisions, etc. I do agree. However, I surely wasn't bored and the scraps I was fed at the end have me wanting the full story so I will probably continue with this series. ...more
