I think I can’t read a heist - I found myself skimming the action trying to get to more dialog - and then I lost the plot. Obviously most people loved this book! I enjoyed the imagery and complicated group dynamic when they were the focus. This much action might just not be my thing.
I really liked the characters, but the plot is definitely not as good as the Shadow and Bone trilogy for me.
i havent read it yet so i gave it a 3 star but the rating is based on the cover they changed the cover to match the netflix series ugh like the original one was better and neat kinda disappointed
