This is probably the longest review I will ever write for a book, but it was earned.
Incredible. Perfection. There cannot be any criticism. This is the best book I have ever read, which is a huge statement considering how much I read.
The themes in this book are its strongest element. Racism, sexism, classism, and immigration to name a few. This would be an incredible book for assigned reading for a class. It contains so many topics to dissect, I wish I had a group of people to discuss it with. ...more

Incredible!
Every aspect of this story was impeccable. Equal parts heartbreaking and hopeful.
Sciona's character arc was one of the best I've ever read.
I love that this is a standalone. Everything that needs to be said in one volume.
