Overall enjoyed this and would re-read! I found the beginning to be pretty slow for me, but once I got about 1/3 of the way in, I couldn’t put it down and picked up the second book immediately. The magical world of Prythian was fun to get lost in. I liked all the characters (even the villains). From what I’d heard about this, I was expecting it to be super spicy, but there’s really only 1 or 2 graphic scenes in here. (view spoiler)

This was one of the first fantasy books I have read and this was actually my first reread. And I am so glad I have chose this, I absolutely still adore this book and love the characters! ❤️ Yes even Tamlin.. 🙄 I almost forgot how much fun I had reading Lucien and Feyre's banter in this one though. 😀

First of all, for those of you who like spice, I would place this firmly at about a 2 BUT this is the first in the series and does it dial right up in the next book.

I overall loved this book!! Absolutely read all five books within one week. As much I loved it, it also has one of my biggest peeves. The main character is your classic "I'm so tiny" "I need a man to save me" type of character. I honestly prefer female characters who are stand alone, and romance that isn't built off of dependency. Idk she was like 18 and the man was over 100yrs old?? But yes, I still loved it, which to me means that Sarah J. Maas is an amazing writer.

This book made me enjoy reading again! The genre and storyline are so fun, and the mythical elements allow you to escape from your own reality. Although it is fictional, the characters are still highly relatable. Also, I love a book with a little bit of spice😉
I absolutely love this series. However, the first book of this series was extremely slow. I’ve read the whole series a second time and still found this book hard to get through.

AHHH oh my god !! The hype around this book. I finally understand the hype around this book !! Such an incredible read. The characters; Rhysand, Tamlin, Lucien, Feyre, I- I’m obsessed and cannot wait to start ACOMAF !!
