This is one of my new favorite books. Hands down the best suspense book I have ever read. It is fast paced and constantly keeps you wanting more. There are so many twists it makes it impossible to put down. I finished it in less than a day. I will be recommending this book to everyone!!

This book was very popular among the booktok crowd. It was a quick read that I was able to get through in an afternoon. I enjoyed it, but I think the storyline was fairly simple and obvious. Straightforward isn’t always bad, but I did come up with several other possible endings, because I assumed the ‘twist’ would be more convoluted given how popular it became. Especially considering McFadden purposely tried to divert the reader a few different times. It was a bit reminiscent of Girl on the Trai ...more

I loved this book. Highly recommended, if you loved Verity by Colleen Hoover you will love his book even more. I really liked the plottwists and I couldn't put the book out of my hands. Looking forward to the second book. ...more

Could not put this book down! The characters are all so complex and unhinged and the book definitely thought me not to judge a book by its cover because this book is nothing it seems to be. I have never read a book where I couldn’t even slightly predict what was going to happen next but this one was shock after shock, plot twist after plot twist! Freida McFadden writes thriller like no other. At no point did I know what was going to happen next! I do think the ending let it down slight ...more
