To think this is her debut novel? Like, what? This book is an absolute chef's kiss and easily one of my favourite books this year. I love the world-building, and I agree that it does give off Hunger Games vibes. However, after the middle half of the book, I can see the change in direction Lauren is trying to pursue—especially with THAT ENDING??

OMG!! This was so good, I regret not reading this sooner!! And the ending was a bit predictable, but still I love this book! 🖤☺️ I think Kai Azer has my heart bc wow everything he said just hit me hard and made me kick the air 😄 And Paedyn wow she was so brave and stubborn that I was just like go girl the whole time!! WOW!! This was so good. Already pre-ordered the next book - cannot believe the ending. The tension between Kai and Paedyn, the drama, the betrayal. This book has everything you need. In love!!
