What Members Thought
It’s not often that I read a book with a classic feel that feels like it will be a classic. But the author’s skill in setting and style and the large but unique cast of characters will certainly remind a reader of all the best of the classics, without feeling like the author imposed it.
The themes are beautifully handled and if I didn’t know that this book was written by a contemporary author, I would believe I had gone to a used book store and plucked a hardback treasure off the shelf.
