What Members Thought

I found the stilted writing style difficult to read, and it took me at least a third of the book to get hooked. Even then, Henry was the only character I really liked. And yet I was never really led to understand why Cara fell in love with him, especially given the things she believed about him. All in all, I was left confused by the choices the characters made.

The Artful Match is the third book in Jennifer Delamere's London Beginnings Series. It can be read as a stand alone as each book features the story of one of three sisters. This book is the youngest sister, Cara's story. I read this first book in this series, but missed the second one. That being said, I was able to jump right into this book without any trouble, although references to the story line of the second book have made me curious and interested in reading the book I've missed.

Another winner from Jennifer Delamere! Although each book can be read as a stand-alone, this third book in the series nicely ties together various plot points from each of the books. Loved learning about the art world in Victorian England. Clean, inspirational, romantic and informative, this book (and the whole series) has it all!
